Shame we dont know the author... but for historical archive purposes...at least some of it was saved...to show what censorship looks like in iron fisted countries

If the author (or airgunning refugee) please claim this to fill any missing gaps ?

What a great post, why on earth take it down, whoever put pen to paper has hit the nail on the head, it was probably not about SA at all, more like greed on the part of AMTA and GTA, if they got there house in order , and not just pay lip service to some prat because he thinks he's gods gift to air gunning, and other individuals missing out on the gravy train of rip off Britain none of this would of not come about.
Every one should make there voice heard by buying there air weapons from the EU until GTA, AMTA , and The prat retract there objections .

NB: Here's another thought, If above were being done to Official UK imports on the LP50 , to bring upto & under 6 ft/lb ...

*COULD* the palava been avoided , *IF* , the Steyr Semi Auto H5 was officially imported into UK at 7.5J ?, and UK agent done the necessary power tweak to conform to UK power at 11.5 ft/lb ?

ie: If above was done for pistols, then same logic to air rifles. Either they are both legal*, or NOW both illegal/prohibited...

... but it can not be 1 is legal under 6 ft/lb since 2006, openly sold by shops in UK, and the rifle version (using same mech) is NOW NOT legal... :?: *(or is the proper word & term "prohibited" ?)

HOC is part of UK legislation right ? and how is it the HO did not get Law Society advice on doing U turn ? surely Parliament will have copies on opinion & advice from Legal to HO on this matter ?

This is that other avenue worth pursuing...IMHO. ie: Lassman, needs to demonstrate & show under FOI, who authorised U turn and on what basis; decisions nowadays - need explaining. Only National Securtity matters stay cloacked. Besides, who has signed the U turn ? (if supposedly decided) ...or is Lassman uttering his opinion which has no legal standing ? (to which MANY from a couple of forums- seem to accept as LAW & a final definitive decision from HO). Because, Police Forces, FEO, have from my contacts, confirmed no new updates ...and as BASC says, CPS webpage still stands...

Anyone feeling brave to raise those points on the other forums are welcome to do so. :ugeek:

I think Lassman is just another Home Office flunky trying to make decisions way above his station and ability, of the same ilk as those who run AMTA and the GTA.
