Ok, am about to order a carbon tube from here: - 19mm

It's for the ATAMAN barrel...which at both ends are smaller diameter.

So the solution is to use calipers to measure both external diameters.

Either the barrel needs machining to remove excess steel , or (preferably) depending on measurement...

Seen a few but missed out last year on a part blank now used. There was a Steyr at Weston with cheek, pistol grip and forend done in it, make that four seen.
Its made by Cousinau in US no dealer or producer will ship outside USA.

Its called Black and Orange or Grey and Orange wanted it just over...

Used to buy semi inletted CZ 550 stocks from Richards Microfit as far back as 2002. Constant failure to reply by email in fact never had a reply in 14 years. Had to stop over at work and phone up, was better with the old switchboard likely to speak to a real person that could take the order....

Looks like hes still using them 3/16 screws with the shear acting directly on to them 16 years on. :oops:

The stocks are ok nothing wrong with them unlike many after market producers and it fits in a budget price band.
Seen a couple on S400 they do the job, cheap to make to end up with a low price, nowt wrong with that. More a concern is the fit and It looks like its done quite well that nearly all...

Knew it was a matter of time and first thing noticed in pre production stage.
Its quicker and dead easy to use two acetal tipped grub screws to attach to T rail, unfortunately damages the stock to the effect of zero shift. Should have done it right instead of pulling a fastun.

Having attempted to research aluminium alloys (couple of hours on Google) to determine which are suitable for machining stock parts I am in need of some advice from someone who has experience in this. 7075 seemed to me to have the characteristics I am looking for, but having no experience of this...

Bit late by 12 months but 6082 T6 offers the best all round solution. It does have a springyness but always returns, wont crack like 7075 which may or may not return to original state. If go to any dealer chances are it will be 6082 in T6 hardness for plate and round.

Mainly used in hft and hand made.
Never shot one just half heartedly perused a club members when asked.
There a couple of electric ones using the daystate electronics, not sure whether Dave a Rivi shooter is on here could tell all about it and the work he done programming.

AWESOME !

Now I just need to be specific about colour I want.

Packing - Overkill ; there must have been 1 mile of medical white duct tape , that made each part weigh 2 lb. that even a Tsunami, and several years floating in the ocean would reveal...an intact procuct !!
